Well Pump, Tank and Water Services
Well and water services for homes and farms on private wells in Northern Virginia. Pumps, pressure tanks, testing, treatment, lines and 24/7 no-water help from a third-generation family company. Call 703-791-3981.
Everything a private well needs
Oasis Well Service handles the whole system, from the pump down in the well to the water at your tap. Most calls start with a pump or tank problem, so we do well pump repair and pressure tank replacement all the time. Signs you may need us include a pump that runs constantly, pressure that dropped, a pump tripping the breaker, or air spitting from the faucets. If you have no water, our emergency no-water service runs 24/7.
For the water itself, we offer water testing, water treatment such as acid neutralizers, softeners and sulfur filters, and UV disinfection for bacteria. Sulfur smell, iron stains, blue-green stains and cloudy water all have causes a test can find. Buying a home? Book a well inspection with a flow test. It checks the equipment, how much water the well gives, and the water quality for bacteria, lead and nitrates.
Outside, we do water line repair and trenching, well casing repair with sanitary caps, and hand pumps and hydrants for farms and backup water. Water pooling near the well can point to a leak at the pitless adapter, and a cracked casing can let surface water in after heavy rain.
We are a family company, licensed and insured, with certified technicians. Diagnosis is free, within reason, and pump installs come with a 5-year warranty. Call 703-791-3981 to talk it through.
Not Sure Which Service You Need?
Start with what you are seeing. This is how we usually sort it out on the phone:
- No water at all. Call the emergency line. It is often the pump, the pressure switch or a breaker. See emergency well service.
- Pressure pulses in the shower, or the pump clicks on and off. Usually a waterlogged or undersized tank. See pressure tank replacement.
- The pump runs and never shuts off. Could be a leak in the line, a worn pump, or a running toilet. See water line repair and well pump repair.
- Rotten egg smell, orange or blue-green stains, cloudy water. Start with a test, then treat. See water testing and water treatment.
- A bacteria test came back positive. We look for how it got in, usually the cap or casing, and then consider a UV light. See well casing repair and UV disinfection.
- Buying or selling a house with a well. Book a well inspection and flow test early, so the results are back before closing.
- Power goes out and so does your water. A hand pump gives you water without electricity. See hand pumps and hydrants.
Still not sure? That is what the free diagnosis is for. Call 703-791-3981 and describe it in your own words. You can also look at photos of recent jobs to see how we set equipment, or learn how a well system works from the ground up.

Questions we hear a lot
What well and water services do you offer?
We handle pumps, constant pressure systems, pressure tanks, water testing, treatment, UV lights, inspections, water lines, casing repair, hand pumps and hydrants. We also run a 24/7 no-water emergency service.
Do you charge to diagnose a well problem?
Diagnosis is free, within reason. We start with a few questions on the phone, which often points to the fix before we load the truck. Call 703-791-3981 to start.
What brands of well pumps do you install?
When a pump needs replacing, we use Gould, Myers or Grundfos, and we set up constant pressure systems too. For tanks we use Well-X-Trol.
Is there a warranty on your work?
Pump installs come with a 5-year warranty. We are licensed and insured, and our work meets county code.
Do you do routine maintenance on well pumps?
You cannot service a submersible pump the way you would a furnace. What you can do is keep the pressure tank air set about 2 psi under the switch's low number and test your water once a year.
Can you fix water that smells or stains?
Often, yes. A test tells us whether it is sulfur, iron, hardness or low pH. Then we match the right softener, sulfur filter or acid neutralizer to your water.
Do you install UV lights for well water?
Yes. We install GDS and Viqua UV lights to remove E. coli and coliform bacteria.
Are you available at night and on weekends?
Yes, we are available 24/7. For no water, call the emergency line at 703-776-0996.
