First, Are You on a Well?
Most of Woodbridge runs on public water. If you pay a water bill to a utility, a low-pressure problem is not something a well company can fix, and we will tell you that honestly.
But Woodbridge covers a lot of ground, from I-95 and Route 1 out toward the Occoquan River, and some rural pockets are still on private wells. If you have a pressure tank in the basement or garage and a well cap in the yard, you are in the right place. We serve homes on wells across 22191, 22192, and 22193.
Not sure which one you have? Call and ask. It takes a minute to sort out, and it saves you a wasted visit.
No Water This Morning?
Most of our Woodbridge well calls are urgent ones. Before you call, try these safe steps:
- Check the breaker for the well. If it tripped, turn it off.
- Think back: did the power flicker or go out overnight?
- Listen for a toilet running. A leak can keep a pump going nonstop.
Then call our emergency line, 703-776-0996. No-water calls take priority. See emergency well service in Woodbridge and our no-water service.
After a power outage
Some pressure switches have a low-pressure cutoff. After an outage, the switch can drop out and will not restart on its own until it is reset. Please do not open the switch cover. Read lost water after a power outage and give us a call.
Well Pump Repair in Woodbridge, VA
A pump that trips the breaker, runs without shutting off, or pushes air through the faucets is telling you something. On average a well pump lasts 10 to 15 years. Our diagnosis is free, and we install Gould, Myers, and Grundfos pumps, including constant pressure systems, with a 5-year warranty. The work meets county code, and we are licensed and insured. Learn more about well pump repair and replacement.
Sometimes the tank is the culprit, not the pump. Our Woodbridge pressure tank page explains the difference.
On non-emergency calls we may start by talking it through on the phone. Often we can narrow the problem down before we arrive. Read what our free diagnosis covers.
Water Quality on a Woodbridge Well
On a private well, you are responsible for your own water quality. A yearly bacteria test is widely recommended. See well water testing in Woodbridge, our water testing service, and well water treatment in Woodbridge.
Test after any well work, after flooding, or when buying a home. If bacteria shows up, UV disinfection can treat E. coli and coliform.
